Daddies needs some support too...

Some daddies are very self motivated when mommies are expecting.. while some need some encouragement to keep up the good work..
~
Dear mommies, we need to understand our hubbies needs is also important. they too get worried and anxious and sometimes this may cause problems should it is not communicated properly. We mommies may think daddies are not supportive, not being there for us, not encouraging etc...
~
Daddies need to be encouraged and how to do that? Sometimes by letting them do what they feel like doing once a while like hang out with frens, play computer games etc (but not too excessive ones lar) i think it's alright... i mean we cannot ask our hubbies to stay with us 24/7 without spending some "me" time for himself and expect them to be happy all the time.. they need some time off also lar.. right?
~
And don't forget to show appreciation to your hubby every time he did something nice for you.. A "thank you" and some kind words is very meaningful in times like this coz sometimes they dunno how or what do to that would make you a little happier.. so, show them some love by telling them their action meant something to you and you cherish it :)
~
We mommies goes through a lot of hormonal changes and yes.. temper temper~~~ beginning of my pregnancy i was over sensitive at certain things and get angry very easily... and i wonder why i would suddenly snapped? Then after knowing i am pregnant, i know i need to have more self control and take it easy. They always say Pregnant women always got bad temper.. well yes, but i think temper can be managed, right? we have self control... so use it!!! This will encourage the daddies to be more relaxed... having an argumentative and angry wife for about 9 full months is not very encouraging lor..
~
I'm sure there are other good ideas out there that helps daddies cope with the new arrival... should you have any comments.. do share.. :D

Want to prevent baby/children having allergies?

I was happily eating my peanuts and my friends came over and told me better not.. Coz this may caused your baby to have weird allergies in the future..
~
Since young I don't have any allergies... i can even sleep with my cat the whole night :P and not have any asthma attach or anything like tt.. My step brothers, 2 of them, have asthma and eczema while my husband also have it when he was young.. so according to the article below, i should not be taking nuts hopefully to avoid any possibility.
.
I like peanut butter and was eating them for the last couple of weeks.. and bought a bottle of peanuts for munching purposes... so i think now i should cut down on the intake :)
~
I was praying for my baby for not having eczema and asthma and i think my prayers was answered :D as now i know by eating peanuts may cause these allergies :)
.
I hope this article will help you better understand the situation... Prevention is better then cure... not to say don't eat peanuts AT ALL, but just reduce consumption and of course if can just stop consumption then better lor.. Like coffee? Can drink 1 cup a day but if can avoid then just avoid lar.. right? :D

Quote- Marina Krcmar

"Toddlers learn more from an adult speaker than they do from a programme such as Teletubbies." -Marina Krcmar
(babies and toddlers learn better from real people.)

Very true indeed!!! That is why many are encouraged to speak properly when we are to engage a conversation with our young ones. Baby talks are cute but they may learn the wrong way of communication as they grow older.

How to garden with Children- The Stars Aug

Having your children garden with you can be fun and can be an educational collaboration between you and your children :)

Step 1: Decide on the space on where you wanna garden and the plants you want to grow.
Vegetables are an easy, fast thing to grow with kids.

Step 2: Explain what each seed is and wht it needs to grow.

Step 3: Guide your child as they dig for plants and seeds. Have a ruler to measure how deep each hole should be for the seed or plants.

Step 4: Give them responsibly for watering and garden care.

Step 5: Check the progress with your children. For older Children, measure plant growth and keep track of it on a chart.

Step 6: Check your garden daily and discuss what the plants need.
