Raw and Cooked Barley...

Formula milk make babies really 'heaty' and this will cause constipation to the babies...
Not good for our little darlings... Some paediatricians will say it's alright because some babies even have constipation up until one week... Wah!!!! so long ah... not really healthy right??
So my little Alexander has trouble too... so my aunt suggested that i fed him Raw and cooked barley for him once or twice a week... it will help him.. poo poo :D
So i tried... this is how the barley looked like...

As you can see... some of the barley if cooked already that why it looks puffy while some are not...

This one whole pack only cost me MYR1... ahahaha so cheap hor.... but the shop keeper told us that we should use the whole pack for one serving... but we didn't lar... we use only a few table spoon :P

It still worked!!!! At least bb is poo-ing almost daily... (ya.. still skip one day.. sometimes...)

Well, at least it is working... :)

Alexander is learning how to turn...

Alexander is learning how to turn and he can actually do it!!! Sometimes he still get stuck lar ahahaha... and he will start crying if and when ever he is stuck..

When i was in Sabah, according to Nigel, Alexander already showing signs that he can turn from face down to face up as Nigel found him face up one early morning... Usually we put him face down to sleep.. he sleeps better and longer that way..

I wonder is Alexander growing too fast? Is it a good thing or does it shows that he could be hyper? just a thought lar.. I dun really think about it too much.. Just take it a day at a time.. Alexander is like teething also.. but not really out yet.. just itchy i guess... When ever i wash his mouth i can feel something hard & sharp on his gums. Should be teeth gua.. but not growing out yet...

According to the older people, the longer your teeth grow the stronger it is.. means a baby who grows his teeth at 12 months old will have a stronger teeth to a baby who grows his teeth at 6 months... this is a fact by older generation, not to compare your children's teeth is better than other ppl's children... it does not matter... as long as you clean it properly, all teeth can be good teeth...

Same with turning.... it does not matter when they turn, it is not going to matter he turns sooner than other baby's, it's nothing to compare about.. it's just good to know he can turn d... most importantly he is healthy and growing normally.

Want to prevent baby/children having allergies?

I was happily eating my peanuts and my friends came over and told me better not.. Coz this may caused your baby to have weird allergies in the future..
~
Since young I don't have any allergies... i can even sleep with my cat the whole night :P and not have any asthma attach or anything like tt.. My step brothers, 2 of them, have asthma and eczema while my husband also have it when he was young.. so according to the article below, i should not be taking nuts hopefully to avoid any possibility.
.
I like peanut butter and was eating them for the last couple of weeks.. and bought a bottle of peanuts for munching purposes... so i think now i should cut down on the intake :)
~
I was praying for my baby for not having eczema and asthma and i think my prayers was answered :D as now i know by eating peanuts may cause these allergies :)
.
I hope this article will help you better understand the situation... Prevention is better then cure... not to say don't eat peanuts AT ALL, but just reduce consumption and of course if can just stop consumption then better lor.. Like coffee? Can drink 1 cup a day but if can avoid then just avoid lar.. right? :D

Quote- Marina Krcmar

"Toddlers learn more from an adult speaker than they do from a programme such as Teletubbies." -Marina Krcmar
(babies and toddlers learn better from real people.)

Very true indeed!!! That is why many are encouraged to speak properly when we are to engage a conversation with our young ones. Baby talks are cute but they may learn the wrong way of communication as they grow older.
